Data controller

The data controller is the joint municipal authority of the Wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland (kirjaamo@varha.fi, VAT ID FI32210651) whose Data Protection Officer can be reached via email at tietosuoja@varha.fi. The person in charge of register matters at Auria Biobank is Director Lila Kallio (lila.kallio@varha.fi).

Basis of Processing

We process personal data to be able to respond to the contact requests we receive through our website https://www.auria.fi/biopankki. This processing is based on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Article 6, sub-paragraph 1 point (a): the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes. The consent is formed when the person submits the contact form with personal data.

Personal Data Collected

We collect personal data in connection to the use of the contact form on the website of ACI. We collect the following information of the contact form user:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Postal address
  • Phone number
  • Represented organisation
  • Other non-pre-defined personal information which the user potentially enters into the message field

Disclosure of data

The personal data is not disclosed outside of the Wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland.

Storage of Personal Data

We will store personal data as long as they are needed for the purpose for which they have been collected.
